Will you not lean Japanese culture,too?

I took the exam to become a classical japanese dance teacher. I passed the exam in 2019.
私は日本舞踊の師範試験を受け、お免状を頂きました。

I became Natori and I got the name Nishikawa Mikasa.
私はお名取になり西川美華茶(みかさ)というお名前を頂きました。

​

There are many styles of classical Japanese dances, and I am learning from Nishikawa style.
Natori is to be given a name with Nishikawa last name by the Nishikawa master so that I can use the name to perform as Nishikawa dancer. 
日本舞踊には流派があり、私は西川流という流派の先生から日本舞踊を習っています。
名取とは名前を頂くという事で、先生から西川～という名前を付けてもらい、その名前で活動することが出来るものです。

Ever since I was a child, I looked up to the teachers and the idea of getting the name. 
私は幼い頃から名取や師範という存在に憧れていました。

I’m happy that a dream from childhood came true.
子供の頃からの夢が叶ってとても嬉しく思います。

​

I get a license to be a teacher, and I think that one of my dreams has come one step closer, my dream is spread the goodness of Japanese classical dance to the world.
私は師範という資格を得て、日本舞踊の良さを世界に広めるという夢にまた一歩近づいたと思います。
